Do candidates need an account or an app?

No. Candidates open their personal interview link in a recent version of Chrome or Edge, allow camera and microphone access, and start. There is nothing to install and no password to remember.

How does the interview actually work?

The AI reads each of your questions out loud. When it finishes, the candidate answers by speaking, and their answer is captured automatically when they pause. The whole session is recorded on camera and transcribed, within the time limit you set.

Does the AI decide who gets hired?

No. HirePick produces a score out of 100 and a short overview to help you prioritise, but your team watches the recording, reads the transcript and makes every decision. We designed it that way on purpose.

Which languages are supported?

Interviews are conducted in English today. Answers in other languages cannot be transcribed or scored reliably, and candidates are told this before they start.

How much does one interview cost?

One credit covers 10 minutes of interview time, which works out at $0.25 to $0.33 depending on the pack. You only pay for the minutes a candidate actually uses. Expired invites, cancelled invites and interviews that end in under a minute cost nothing.

What if a candidate loses connection?

They can reopen the same link and continue from the question they were on, as long as the link has not expired. Answers already given are kept. The interview timer keeps running while they are away, so they should rejoin quickly.

Can I bring candidates in from my existing tools?

Yes. Add candidates manually, upload a CSV or Excel file, link a Google Sheet that HirePick keeps in sync, or connect Zapier and API keys to push candidates in and send results out to the tools you already use.

Who can see interview recordings?

Only members of your organization. Candidates agree to be recorded before the interview starts. Read our Privacy Policy for how data is stored and protected.
